Quilt kits

Available for $28 Australian (incl p&p), quilt kits contain all you need to make a miniature quilt:
      * detailed instructions
      * printed foundation
      * selection of fabrics
      * wadding and backing fabric

Designs currently available include Log Cabin, 1000 pyramids, and Trip around the World - other colourways available.

Smaller kits Also available, a simple cot quilt ($18) and cushions ($8, kit contains enough for two cushions) to my range of kits. Plus, by popular demand, my cat wallhanging ($18), as seen at the Sydney Dolls House Show in May 2005.

If you have your own fabric, I am happy to supply just the pattern and printed foundation for $18 for larger quilts (incl p&p).
Printed foundations At last, the ideal way to get accurate results! The quilt design is printed from my computer onto lightweight interfacing, which then forms the "foundation" for the patchwork.   Most of the quilts in my book were made using this method, which ensures that each block is identical.

While making quilts for my book, I had to be very careful with pressing seams.  Using a steam iron caused the printed lines to run and ruined the patchwork. I have recently overcome these problems by buying a new printer, the Epson Stylus C63, which uses water resistant ink.  So I can now produce foundations to sell, either on their own or as part of a kit.

Printed foundations cost $6 per A4 sheet (plus p&p) - most quilts require one or 1.5 A4 sheets of interfacings.
Quilting supplies Freezer paper and interfacing so you can print your own designs by computer, $1 each per A4 sheet (plus p&p)

Most of the quilt kits are based on the designs in my book "Patchwork Quilts for the Dolls' House".  All prices quoted are in Australian dollars - please check current exchange rates (you could use XE.com Personal Currency Assistant for accurate conversion)
