| Artisans | Angie Scarr Miniatures | The best Fimo food youve ever seen! And a stunning book which explains just how to make her fruit and vegetables. |
| Buttercup Miniatures | 1/12th and 1/24th scale knitting and crochet patterns, wool, needles and accessories - just amazing, such detailed work. | |
| Country Contrast | 1/12th scale items for Dolls House Kitchens - great food items, kitchen furniture and accessories. | |
| Retailers | Dolls House Emporium | This company, based in the UK, has a great range of houses available as kits or ready built, and an amazing selection of miniature items. I am building a quilt shop using their Country Store dolls house kit - in-progress photos are here. |
| Hobbys UK | Excellent source of materials for making your own miniatures, as well as good lighting and other mini items. | |
| Maple Street | Another UK company, with a great selection of miniatures and house kits. Check out the tiny packets and tins of food! | |
| Magazines | Dollhouse Miniatures | The leading US dolls house magazine, with detailed how-to projects each month. Their September 2003 magazine features a little quilt I designed specially for the magazine - click here for a look at the quilt. Regrettably the September 2004 magazine will be the last one published, unless a new publishier takes over. |
| Dolls House World | Excellent UK monthly magazine, with lots of projects, often contributed by enthusiastic readers. I had two little projects published in 1997, which encouraged me to start making quilts. | |
| The Dolls House Magazine | UK monthly magazine, with great projects. Published by the Guild of Master Craftsman. | |
| UK Patchwork and Quilting | Most of the projects in this magazine are for full-sized quilts, but they ran a competition in 2003 for dolls' house scale quilts. My "Little House in the Big Woods" was a runner-up, and the instructions for making this quilt are in the November 2004 edition of the magazine. | |
| Down Under Quilts | The leading Australian monthly quilting magazine. Lots of projects, plus each month there's a profile of a quilter - look for me in January 2007! | |
| Quilting Websites | Foundation Piecing Instructions | This is an excellent quilting website with all sorts of useful instructions, including this step-by-step introduction to foundation piecing. |
| Guilds / Societies | Miniature Needlework Society | The MNS was founded in 1997 to encourage all forms of miniature work with needle and thread. There are meetings for UK members, and a regular newsletter. US and Australian members have their own contacts. |
| Quilters' Guild UK | An interesting website for all quilters, with information about what's on in the UK. There's also a Miniature Quilt Group which promotes the craft of making little quilts, up to 50cm square. | |
| AMEA | The Australian Miniature Enthusiasts Association, which meets four times a year and has an annual retreat. A great way to meet other dolls house fanatics - AMEA can put you in touch with a group in your area within Australia. | |
